It’s a new month and that means there’s a new Art Cart activity at the Museum. What’s the Art Cart, you ask? It’s a free drop-in program designed to get kids and adults to look at and make art together. The theme for January’s Art Cart is “Clothing Clues” and the activity explores how artists use clothing and costume to tell stories about the people depicted in their artwork. Taking inspiration from this well-heeled woman and other works in the collection, participants can then dress a paper figure with decorative materials.
Catch the Art Cart every Saturday 10-4 and every Sunday noon-4.
