Explore AHG in south Overland Park

American Heritage Girls is an opportunity for girls to practice what it means to Love, to Learn, and to Lead in a fun and exciting environment. We earn badges, go camping, give service, practice leadership, and have a ton of fun – with Christ as the reason for it all.

We’re holding a pair of events to give girls an opportunity to meet our Troop and get to know the other girls.

Game Night. Curious about AHG? Come have some fun, and see what it is all about! There will be a variety of games and activities, all with an AHG theme. Minute To Win It, Pictionary, Bingo, Freeze Dance… lots of fun and silliness for all!

Please see our Evite for more information and to let us know you’re coming! www.evite.com/event/02035ER5LY46TE5RKEPDX2D6HOP2HI

Visitors’ Meeting and Parent Information. Attend one of our Troop meetings, specially designed to be visitor-friendly. While the girls are taking part in their activities, we’ll offer an informational meeting for parents as well.

Sunday, April 13, 3:00-4:30pm.

We meet at Grace Church159th and Antioch, Overland Park, on the lower level. We have a variety of area churches and denominations represented in our Troop, so your daughter is sure to find someone she can connect with quickly.

For more information, you may request a phone call or email, or call the church directly at 913-814-7223.

IMG_20120421_090539Planning on attending the MPE Homeschool Conference in Kansas City this year? Stop by and say hello! We will have representatives from a number of the area Troops at a booth in the Exhibitors Hall. You can check our latest map, pick up information, ask questions, and meet some of the leaders and older girls.

We’ll be in an unnumbered booth, along the front wall of the Exhibit Hall.

You can find all the necessary information about the conference, including hours, speakers, and workshops on the Midwest Parent Educators website.
