KS0138 meets at Holy Trinity Catholic Church near 91st and Pflumm. Their Troop number was inspired by Luke 1:38, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. Let it be done to me according to thy word.” We see the Virgin Mary as the ideal example of what it means to be a woman of integrity and grace, which is what we believe the American Heritage Girl should strive to be.” Being chartered by the Church, many of their activities compliment and support the Catholic Church and her teachings.They meet on Tuesday evenings. KS0412 is chartered by Midwest Parent Educators, at meets at Lenexa Baptist Church, near 87th and Lackman. They chose their Troop number as a reminder of 1 Timothy 4:12. “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” This Troop is partnered with Trail Life USA Troop KS0412. KS2014 is chartered by Cedar Ridge Christian Church, 87th and Lackman. This Troop completes at least 3 badges each year, and offers multiple service opportunities for the girls to participate in, whether with the Troop or own their own. They hold several special events during the year, including a father/daughter event, a mother/daughter overnight, a Rope Runner Derby, and, of course, a few camping outings.
