American Heritage Girls Troop MO0134 is sponsored by Faith Baptist Church, located at 414 S. Franklin St. in Raymore, and has served the Cass County and Southern Jackson County area since 2008. Regular troop meetings are held Tuesday evenings during the school year, along with a few occasional summer activities as well.
As a part of AHG, girls will develop friendships and engage with other girls their age in positive, uplifting and challenging activities. They will participate in a variety of traditional “scouting” experiences such as badge work, crafts, community service, outdoor activities (including camping) , fundraising, and many other fun events. And best of all, it is all done from a Christ-honoring, faith-based perspective. Girls will be exposed to (and encouraged to follow) traditional Christian values and principles and are encouraged to live out their own faith in real and practical ways. And as our name implies, American patriotism is also a major focus for us, too. We look for and encourage the girls to find ways to honor their country, not only in their general attitudes, but by their service to others around them as well. We are committed in every way to fulfilling the goal of the AHG Mission statement: Building women of integrity through service to God, Family, Community, and Country.
KS0134 welcomes you to schedule a visit. Please contact Troop Coordinator Kathy Sneed for more information.
