In Living Color: A Conservatory Exhibit, Jan. 12 – Mar. 10

RanunculusHave a craving for brighter colors? Satisfy it with a visit to Powell Gardens! The horticulture team has brought out the most vibrant cool-season blooms to create a spectacular conservatory exhibit. You will see ranunculus, dianthus, forsythia and other favorites in every color of the rainbow! The exhibit is open through March 10.

Winter Garden admission: $7/adults, $6/seniors, $3/children ages 5-12, FREE for children under 5

This outing is a way to address Gardening & Plant Science, naturally, but the garden designs are also applicable to Artastic and History’s Canvas.

Community Art Classes for Youth

The Kansas City Art Institute’s School for Continuing and Professional Studies provides art and design classes ranging from digital animation to traditional life drawing for ages 6 through adult.
