Polar Bear PJ Parties, July – October

Enjoy a sleepover with all your friends in the brand new Polar Bear Passage viewing building. Everything your family wants in a Zoo overnight at the right price. Discover the Zoo’s newest animals, Nikita and Berlin the Polar Bears and explore Arctic animals’ adaptations to extreme weather. You may even get to explore the Zoo after hours and see what the animals do at night (weather permitting).

Overnight includes:

  • Themed activities
  • Animal Encounter with some of our education animal ambassadors
  • Night hike
  • Exclusive tour
  • Tons of fun!

Sleepovers are held in the Polar Bear Passage viewing building and Zoo Learning Center on weekends, and run from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. One adult chaperone per 10 children under 18 is required. A continental breakfast will be served in the morning.

July 20, August 17, September 21, or October 5, 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Cost $40 ($25 for FOTZ members) + Zoo admission

Still need to get in a fall outdoor adventure, but thinking it’s too cold to camp? Consider an overnight at the Kansas City Zoo. You get to sleep in the zoo education building, so weather isn’t a factor. They are willing to select themed activities around a variety of badges, and with at least 25 paid participants, your overnight can be exclusive to your Troop. Give them a call today!
