Experimental Painting Workshop, Jan. 19

With the help of The Foundry Art Centre and local Artist Fran Null, workshop participants will have the opportunity to learn non-traditional painting techniques and create masterpieces of their very own. Fran Null’s approach to inspiring children to make art is to use story books to spark the child’s own original composition.

This program is part of the Arts Collaborative Project where The Magic House is partnering with leaders in the St. Louis art community. The project gives children the opportunity to experience different forms of art creation as well as to introduce our visitors to some of the fine art institutions in St. Louis.

This event is a little farther afield, but the Magic House makes for a very worthwhile weekend trip at any time. This Workshop could be a very unusual way to meet several requirements of the Artastic badge.
